Repton Pilgrims Dinner 2020

Cricketers, former cricketers, supporters and friends,

Please put Friday 20th March in your diary! This is the date of the 2020 Repton Pilgrims Dinner, which will be held in Repton at the new sports centre following its extensive redevelopment. The new facilities which were opened in November by Adam Peaty include a new sports hall, strength and conditioning gallery, new squash courts, changing rooms, team spaces, conference and catering spaces.
With this central location, we hope we will encourage Pilgrims from across the country to come along to reconnect with their alma mater and enjoy a fantastic evening in the company of fellow Pilgrims from every generation. With something of a resurgence in young Pilgrims now turning out for the ORs in the Cricketer Cup and the Cricket Week, it would be wonderful to see you attend and support the Dinner too. As for our regulars, it wouldn't be the same without you, so please book in for this much-loved annual get-together.
If you haven't been before, this is definitely the right time to make your debut. You'll be very welcome.
While you are in Repton to attend the Dinner, you can also take the opportunity to see the wonderful new facilities the School has built over the last couple of years. We will hold our AGM in the new sports facilities room before the Dinner. You are most welcome to join us there - or you might just want to catch up with old friends and fellow Pilgrims in The Boot or Red Lion.
Derby and Burton train stations make Repton very accessible from all parts and there are plenty of hotels and B&Bs nearby. We're happy to make recommendations - just let us know.
We will announce our excellent guest speaker shortly.
Ticket prices are £35 for those under 30 and £40 for those over 30. We will be back in touch in the coming weeks to confirm the menu, speakers, timings and payment details.
Put the date in your diary, bring along your old Repton team-mates and we look forward to seeing you there!
Kind Regards

James Blackwell & Edward Sloane
(Joint Secretaries)
