1 May 2019
The Hall
Anthony has recently been on holiday with Ramblers at Hassness Country House in Buttermere, where,on one occasion climbed Great Gable. Anthony happened to mention that the seconnd group of yews in "Yew- Trees" by William Wordsworth (1770- 1850) should be in the area, and their guide found the spot on the map. Accordingly, the walking party visited the site, and Anthony read the poem in front of the ancient trees.
