REPTON LITERARY FESTIVAL
As announced in last autumn's edition of The Arch, the second Repton Literary Festival will be held over the last weekend of half term, Friday, 25th October - Sunday 27th October.
Several changes and additions are being made to build on the inaugural festival. The 400 Hall foyer will be the focal point to make more use of the school's superb facilities, in particular the Charlesworth Studio and the theatre. With seven historic venues and even more artists and performances this year, the attractions will include:
An eclectic mix of appearances from poets to politicians Exciting family area to keep the children entertained Tours of our beautiful, historic village A street Food Market Artists, new media experts, storytellers, musicians and poets Authors of Children's Literature, Adult Fiction, Biographies, Political insight, Lifestyle topics A packed weekend of local and global experiences
The flavour is both literary and artistic which has been put together by the new programme director, ex Repton parent John Cavey.
Do come along and join us. More details can be found on the official website: www.reptonliteraryfestival.co.uk
