Nick Campion (N'86)

Congratulations to cricket fanatic, Nick Campion (N'86) on winning the prestigious Writing Competition run by the Wisden Cricketers' Almanack each year. The announcement was made at the annual dinner in the Long Room at Lord's Cricket Ground.

There were 85 entrants to the competition, which is open to anyone who has not been published in the Almanack before. It was particularly rewarding for Nick as  the piece he  wrote was very important to him; it was centred around the recent death of his father and their relationship through cricket.

Nick is a freelance writer and in recent years has been published in All Out Cricket magazine, Wisden Cricket Monthly and has had quite a few pieces in the Times Education Supplement.
