Dear Old Reptonian,
 
Having recently attended the annual OR Society dinner in central London and with a new Headmaster in post, we felt a reunion for the Lancashire and Cheshire Branch of the society was well overdue. We are also reaching out to the Yorkshire Branch of the OR Society, as we are aware many ORs from this part of the world, were unable to make the journey down to London given the expense of travel and accommodation.
 
With this in mind, I am pleased to advise that the dinner will be held at the Manchester Tennis and Racquet Club, 33, Blackfriars Road, Salford M3 7AQ on Thursday 30^th January 2020. We welcome the news that Mr Mark Semmence will be attending the dinner and will be able to update us all on recent achievements at Repton and his vision for the school going forward.
 
We would be delighted to welcome spouses / partners of ORs. To celebrate the arrival of an inspiring Head there will be a glass (or two) of Champagne to start the evening and celebrate the success of the OR Tennis team, followed by a 3-course meal, probably of Leek & Potato soup or Smoked Salmon, followed by Fillet of Beef, Dessert/Cheese and Biscuits accompanied with wine and followed by coffee and port to conclude. Please do advise of any dietary requirements or allergies when booking.
 
For those arriving at 18:30, there will also be the opportunity to make the evening extra special by watching the finest sport there is - Real Tennis - being played.
